Three Houses brings together a selection of street and architectural photographs taken in Popayán, Bogotá, and Heidelberg. These cities are connected through biography: the place of birth and early belonging; the capital where most of adult life has unfolded; and a German city to which the artist has returned repeatedly since 2009.

Rather than representing each city directly, the book attends to fragments: walls, windows, cables, shadows, interiors, night scenes, and small urban signs through which a sense of home appears and disappears. At its core, Three Houses is a visual diary about inhabiting, returning, and recognizing home in fragments.

Three Houses reúne una selección de fotografías de calle y arquitectura tomadas en Popayán, Bogotá y Heidelberg. Estas ciudades están unidas por la biografía: el lugar de nacimiento y primeras pertenencias; la capital donde ha transcurrido la mayor parte de la vida adulta; y una ciudad alemana a la que el artista ha regresado repetidamente desde 2009.

Más que representar cada ciudad de manera directa, el libro se detiene en fragmentos: muros, ventanas, cables, sombras, interiores, escenas nocturnas y pequeñas señales urbanas a través de las cuales aparece y desaparece una idea de hogar. En el fondo, Three Houses es un diario visual sobre habitar, volver y reconocer una casa en fragmentos.
